Hatim Masvi is a man of his own principles. He has a humane heart and is empathically emotional. He was born in Bengaluru and brought up in Ahmedabad. He consistently topped his examinations in his elementary, primary and secondary schools — Trinity English School and St. Xavier’s High School — and then went for further studies at Al Jamea tus Saifiyah, an Arabic university in Surat.

He graduated from there and was posted as an educator in Attalim, the educational department of his community.

He has been a school leader in the Attalim group of schools and also an ICT member in the organisation. He is very keen on updates in the ICT field and is passionate about the digital revolution in his organisation. He has delivered many projects, small to large, in his domain, and is a person whose opinions are listened to and whose words are taken seriously.

He is also a passionate graphic designer specialising in wedding cards, Arabic logos and travel agency flyers. He has designed numerous books in Adobe InDesign, with vector art created in Adobe Illustrator and CorelDraw. He also specialises in photo-editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, and has working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.

He is a well-known Arabic font developer and has been working on font development for over five years. He has in-depth knowledge of glyphs, characters, ligatures, mark positioning and script features for chaining contexts and single substitutions. His niche is creating the complete solution for fonts, including custom keyboards to support font compatibility.
